God's heart through RaFa Music Ministries.  

 The vision includes Levitical Worshipper's Gathering,

God-breathed music ministry and the new

Annual RaFa Music Excellence Awards & Music Fellowship.

All is to honor God and minister to those who minister in music. 

 

February 22, 2008 was an evening of elegance as we honored those

who minister in music...blooming where they're planted.

The host church: St. Mark United Methodist Church, was filled to

capacity in celebrating South Carolina's greatest songwriters, recording artists,

musicians, singers, living legends, choirs, directors and music directors.

What a night to remember!

Why RaFa Music Excellence Awards?  

We will always be passionate about those who may never receive a Dove, Stellar of Grammy.

Nonetheless, their work is just as honorable and deserves equal recognition and award.

Love and Ministry...it can work together...and it can last forever.

There's nothing like a worshipping husband and wife; particularly the man...the priest...who thirsts for God's presence.

Who would have known on June 14, 1975 that the deep thoughts of God (Psalm 92:5b) was bringing us together for a greater purpose than just love and marriage...

It was the beginning of the shaping of a profound 18-year old choir director (Min. Ralph) and a skilled 18-year old musician (Sis. Faith) for a future greater than words could explain. 

There we stood, before the altar, looking into each other's eyes; making vows we didn't quite understand. 

 We just knew that our hearts were knitted together in an unexplainable love for each other.  And to this day, we love each other that much...and so much more!

The Lord saw this very day...a day that Levites would need love, care, chastisement, correction and direction.  Out of our own experiences, we are able ministers...growing into

seasoned vessels; sold out to the will of God.  With passion and compassion, may we be found walking out the destiny path chosen of the Lord for our lives.

We vow to grow old together: filled with memories  of a life given to the work of the ministry, the perfecting of the saints and the edifying of the Body of Christ.

And until the Lord comes for us, we work...and worship!
